Guyzo (Guy Gérard Ngono) is a Cameroonian artist based in the Netherlands.

“Welcome to my world. I am an artist exploring the beautiful tension between light and shadow, tradition and innovation, and where chaos dances with order, all while telling my own story.”

In his practice, he explores identity through history and its impact on our lives and modern society. His work reimagines African figures by drawing on avant-garde art movements such as Divisionism and Cubism, allowing him to experiment with fragmentation, division, reconstruction, and reappropriation to express the complexity of his heritage.

Beyond painting, he celebrates African craftsmanship by blending some unique classical African stools with contemporary design, merging art with functional interior aesthetics.
